Here’s what some of the students are saying:
"The training I received from Wall St Training was invaluable. The instructor has highly relevant and broad
financial industry experience from his work within investment banking, private equity and venture capital.
Leveraging his personal background in his teaching, his style offers a high impact experience for students and
translates the relevancy of the material outside the classroom. Since the seminar, I have subsequently
received some additional personal coaching from WST which allowed me to successfully pass my interview
today at Deloitte. I owe thanks to the support I received from WST, both in/out of the classroom, and believe
this training is exactly what Fordham needs to remain competitive today. Thank you for bringing WST to
campus. I hope they may return for more training next semester." - Fordham University MBA student (JR)
"I recently had the opportunity to take Wall St Training's core model, valuation, and basic M&A and LBO
workshops through my school. They've been extremely helpful in my finance and accounting classes and
helped me land a top summer analyst position at JP Morgan's investment banking credit risk group - I only
wish I had taken them earlier in my college career. Having attended workshops with other training firms, I
believe three things set WST apart: the instructors, who are at the top of their field yet take personal interest in helping students; the emphasis on teaching advanced Excel techniques; and the quality of the templates, which are clear and very professional. Based on my experience with these courses, I have and will continue to
recommend WST to others pursuing a career in finance. " - Baruch College student (GG)
"Once again having Wall St. Training on campus proved to be an invaluable experience. I flew into New York
yesterday for a final round interview with Macquarie Capital. The interview wasn't too technical, mostly fitbased questions, but I got a few questions on in-depth valuations and applying various metrics. After having
been advised by WST on what to expect and how to answer the questions, I wasn't phased. Lastly, at the end
of the interview I followed another piece of WST advice. The individual interviewing me asked if I had any
other questions, and I replied with, "No, but this is definitely my #1 opportunity". The guy gave me a smirk
and a tour of the office. I hear back in the next couple of days. Thanks again for coming to Augsburg."
- Augsburg College student (CP)
"How are you? Hope your trip back to NY last night was enjoyable. I wanted to thank you again on behalf of
everyone who attended the workshop yesterday for spending your entire Sunday up at Cornell. I chatted with
some of the attendees today and they all gained a lot from the experience, and I look forward to planning the
next workshop in the spring." - Cornell University student (MD)
"I am a rising senior at Fordham University and took the two Wall St. Training classes offered last semester. I
just wanted to tell you how informative I found them. Prior to the classes I had no experience whatsoever with
valuations or financial modeling and I found them easy to follow and understand. WST taught the subject
material in a manner that was easy to follow and explained the purposes for the different techniques and
procedures as we went through the models. WST also provided a lot of insight into the investment banking
industry, which I found very informative. I have a few friends who took the [other vendor] class the year
before, and they all agreed that they found Wall St. Training to be superior. [Other Vendor] moved too quickly
and was hard to follow, according to them." - Fordham University student (SW)
"I received some WST training at Boston University under MSIM program. Of the two years I spent in the
program, this block of instruction was the most important time I spent there." - Boston University: Masters of
Science in Investment Management student, CFA charterholder, Investment Analyst, Fidelity Investments (JG)
"I'm an MISM student at Boston University, and I sat in for one of your financial modeling class - I just wanted to let you know that I was thoroughly impressed by everything. I appreciate someone with your knowledge
and experience making information of this magnitude available to students such as myself. Your videos were
great, and the in-class lecture was amazing. I was even more impressed that WST was willing to spend an
extra 2 hours with us which showed that you truly cared about our learning. This was the most stimulating
academic experience that I've ever had, and I just wanted to say thanks." - Boston University: Masters of
Science in Investment Management student, Portfolio Analyst, Key Private Bank (CJ)
"About one month after I completed my class with Wall St Training, the most prestigious bank in my home
country (Saudi Arabia) approved my application for a summer internship in investment banking. In addition I
was given the choice to pursue two internships over the course of the summer and also choose what division
of the bank to join. I would not have been able to accomplish all this as a sophomore, without the professional
financial modeling and analysis knowledge I gained from WST." - Boston University student (MT)
"Thanks again for coming and teaching. I really learned a lot and found it extremely beneficial. I hope Wall St
Training continues to come to Michigan State because what I learned last weekend I feel has given me an
advantage over many of my peers and has me eager to learn more and dive deeper into the field of finance."
- Michigan State University student (AT)
"I received the email that the program is returning this Fall Semester and I think it is an amazing program. Our instructor Mr. David Kovacs was phenomenal and authentic in his methods of teaching the course. Learning the ins and outs of how to be an effective and valuable analyst in Finance is something not easily attainable and people like Mr. Kovacs and his staff are invaluable to students like myself looking to get a leg up on the competition and discounting the class to only $125 so students can afford it is a wonderful gift. Because of the course I took and after speaking with the instructor my doubts were erased and I knew for a fact I was in the right major. From the shortcuts we learned to increase efficiency in Excel to his part about interviews the class was very engaging and I enjoyed every minute of it and we received a very real and hands-on approach on how to add value to yourself as a professional and what employers are looking for. I felt I had to tell someone about my experience with the training course and that I think it was the best money I've ever spent and I wanted to give my opinion of the course back to the university to encourage this course to continue helping FIU students in the future and I constantly recommend the course to everyone I know and I also want to thank you and those you worked with to bring the program here to FIU because I now realize the experience from the course was life changing and I am more confident about my abilities as a future professional in the industry. Thank you for your time and I hope to follow up with more training in the future and thank you again for helping bring the Wall Street Training to FIU."
