Why I'm Asking: I have a list of dozens of different job positions I am trying to sort and classify. The conditional formatting of "Text begins with" "text ends with" and "Text Contains" is the best way I know to easily color code then sort the positions.
(eg. "Lead Analyst", or "Sr. Analyst P/C Processing" might appear. I'd need to ID every entry of thousands that contains the word "analyst" and pull it out, then do the same with "Sr. Analyst").
I end up with dozens of colors I want to sort. The autosort has no easy way to sort multiple colors, so I've chosen all my colors based on the HSL spectrum. I keep my sat. and lum. constant and change the hue by 10 for each color. Then I filter the data and sort by color, choose custom sort, and choose the color.
Issue: It displays the color in RGB info, which is worthless to me when trying to sort.
Question: Can I change the default display from RGB to HSL? Or am I making this way too difficult and there's a super text function to ID these generic positions within longer non generic positions.
